Admission Procedure

At St. Teresa's Convent School, Raigarh, we strive to provide a transparent, fair, and merit-based admission process that ensures every child receives an opportunity to excel in a nurturing educational environment.

Admission Schedule

???? Nursery Admissions

  • Registration for admission to Nursery generally commences during the months of December and January.

???? Admissions to Other Classes

  • Admissions to Kindergarten and Grades I to XII are conducted during January and February, subject to the availability of seats.

Selection Process

For Kindergarten & Grades I – VIII

  • Admission is granted after a personal interaction with both the child and parents/guardians.

  • The interaction helps assess the child's readiness and enables parents to understand the school's philosophy and expectations.

For Grades IX and Above

  • Admission is granted strictly on the basis of a Written Entrance Examination conducted by the school.

  • Selection is based solely on the candidate's performance and eligibility criteria.

Admission Approval

  • Final admission is granted by the Principal/Headmistress only after the candidate has been recommended by a Selection Committee consisting of three members, duly constituted by the Correspondent.

Preference for Christian Students

  • Christian students seeking admission during bulk admission periods will be given due consideration, subject to fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility requirements and availability of seats.

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

By accepting admission, parents and guardians agree to:

??? Comply with all rules, regulations, and policies outlined in the School Almanac.

??? Pay school fees and other prescribed charges within the stipulated timelines.

??? Accept any future modifications or revisions in school rules, regulations, fee structures, or policies as determined by the school management.

Important Admission Guidelines

??? Admission is strictly merit-based.

??? Any attempt to secure admission through recommendations, influence, or external pressure will result in immediate disqualification of the candidate.

??? The decision of the School Management regarding admissions shall be final and binding.

??? The Management reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant without assigning any reason.


Withdrawal Procedure

Students seeking withdrawal from the school must follow the prescribed procedures to ensure smooth processing of their School Leaving Certificate and other official documents.

Application for School Leaving Certificate

???? Parents/Guardians must submit a formal application in the prescribed format at least one month in advance of the intended date of withdrawal.

No Dues Requirement

???? Before the issuance of any School Leaving Certificate, parents must obtain a No Dues Certificate from all relevant departments of the school.

???? The certificate confirms that all financial obligations, library books, hostel dues, laboratory materials, and other school property have been duly cleared or returned.

Clearance of Outstanding Payments

??? All outstanding school fees and other dues must be fully settled before applying for withdrawal.

??? Applications with pending dues may not be processed until complete clearance is obtained.

Collection of Certificates

???? School Leaving Certificates and other official certificates may be applied for and collected up to ten days after the commencement of Summer Vacation.

???? Requests received after this period will be processed only when the school reopens after the Summer Vacation.

Important Note

??? The school reserves the right to withhold certificates until all school dues and formalities have been satisfactorily completed.

??? Parents are advised to initiate withdrawal procedures well in advance to avoid inconvenience and delays.
